  • Introduction to the panel, their areas of expertise and how they can help during the day
11–12noon How to live well with a lower-limb condition
The expert panel will discuss the key principles of living with a long-term lower-limb condition. Discussion will include:
  • What is the underlying cause of lower-limb conditions? How problems with the veins/lymphatics can cause symptoms that can be seen/felt
  • Why we treat lower-limb conditions as we do; skin and wound care, compression therapy; exercise and elevation
  • Working in partnership with your clinician for long-term success and what to do if you are unhappy with your care.
12–1pm Lunch & meet our industry partners
1–3pm Ask the experts
An opportunity for delegates to meet the experts and receive advice on problems commonly encountered for people with lower limb conditions. Advice may include:
  • Improving skin health
  • How to get your wound to move towards healing
  • Coping with a long-term condition (psychological aspects)
  • Compression – how to find a solution that works for you
3–3.30pm Summary of day/closing remarks/delegate feedback
